Meet The Browns

The Pink Bride is proudly owned and operated by Anthony “DJ Tony Dub” Brown, Jr., a Chattanooga native, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for the wedding industry.

Born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Anthony earned his Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development and built a 25+ year career in sales and marketing before stepping fully into the wedding world. In 2012, he began his journey as a professional DJ, serving couples on one of the most important days of their lives. In 2017, he founded First Verse Productions with a vision to create unforgettable experiences rooted in excellence, professionalism, and heart.

Today, First Verse Productions has grown into a team of more than 30 creative professionals, serving over 400 events per year across Chattanooga, Knoxville, Nashville, and North Georgia. The company offers DJ services, Photo Booths, Photography, Videography, Social Media Content Creation, and Karaoke — all driven by the belief that every celebration deserves to be extraordinary.

Anthony built his businesses through faith in God, belief in the power of love, and a deep commitment to serving others well.

In 2024, Anthony was honored to purchase The Pink Bride from founders Fred and Donna Jacobs. Over three decades, Fred and Donna grew The Pink Bride from a wedding magazine into one of the Southeast’s most recognized bridal expo brands, producing 10 shows annually. As they prepared for retirement, they sought a successor who would honor the legacy while continuing to innovate and grow — and Anthony stepped forward with a vision for the future.

Under Anthony’s leadership, The Pink Bride continues its legacy while expanding its impact.
